Press Releases

Leading automotive telematics and security consultancy, SBD, has announced its latest exclusive research subscription service concentrating on the key Telematics, Navigation and Traffic developments of the emerging Chinese market.

Following the success of its recently completed 2008/2009 research series, SBD has received further demand to provide a second set of research reports providing detailed and up to date analysis on the rapidly changing Chinese market.

The reports will address the trends, challenges and impact of Telematics, Navigation and Traffic Information in China.

In support of the launch, Stephen Longden, an expert in telematics development in China will be speaking at the Telematics @ China conference on the subject of “Developing OE telematics services in China ~ the impact of consumer response and government legislation”.

Stephen will provide delegates at this event with some initial insights and conclusions from SBD’s forthcoming G-Book End-User Survey. This comprehensive end user survey collects the views and opinions of Chinese consumers of the first wave of telematics services. In addition, it also evaluates the appeal of its services to perspective customers with data collected from a series of test drives.
